Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is not currently classified as an autoimmune disorder; however, it can't be said that it it's NOT an autoimmune disorder either since the underlying causes of fibromyalgia are still not known. There is some evidience suggesting that some cases may invlove autoimmunity.

Fibromyalgia is a disorder associated with chronic, widespread body pain, muscle aches and other vague symtoms of varying intensity that don't fit into other traditional diagnosis. It is considered more of a "diagnosis of exclusion", which means that medical practitioners rulue out known illness first. If there are none that can be identified, we are left with "fibromyalgia".
There are a range of treatments to address firbomyalgia such as anti-depressants, pain medication and nerve medications; however, many fibromyalgia sufferes do get sufficient relief.
From a medical perspective, there may be contributing causes to fibromyalgia such as vitamin and mineral deficiencies, inflammation, hypothyroidism or food sensitivities.
