Environmental Toxicity

We are surrounded every day by industrial toxic chemicals, car exhaust, housing materials (carpet, drywall, lumber, flooring). clothing, bedding cleaning supplies, cosmetic products, etc.

Eating a standard American Diet is one of the main reasons we accumulate these toxins.  But, don't forget petrochemicals, residues, pesticides, and fertilizers, and exposure to heavy metals, like mercury and lead.  Eventually our body becomes overwhelmed by toxins and our ability to eliminate them through the skin, lungs, liver and kidneys decreases.  These toxins are then stored in fat cells and block our body’s detoxification pathways, limiting its ability to function correctly. These chemicals are increasingly linked to failing health.

The good news is that by eliminating certain foods and behavior from your lifestyle, your body's own functional process of elimination will take over and internal organs function better at healing themselves.  Cells will work better at producing energy and eliminating waste. Eventually, circulation improves, which leads to a lower risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes as well as improved liver and kidney function.
